This re-issue of SOUL DEEPER features five bonus tracks that were only ever on the initial pressings of the album on its original release in 2000. After the massive success of SOUL DEEP in 1991, Jimmy Barnes had another soul itch that he needed to scratch.
Where SOUL DEEP focused on the more pop side of soul via the smooth sounds of Motown, Jimmy wanted to throw himself head first into the rootsier soul of Stax and Volt.
